April is upon us and then it will be May, and things are getting really busy. So I wanted to provide you with some dates of upcoming events so you can mark your calendars. The counselor from Castle Rock will be visiting with the 6th graders next Friday, April 8th. They will enroll for their 7th grade classes. If your student is in Band/Orchestra now and does not want to continue next year they must bring in a note from parents stating this. If they do not have a note, they will enroll in band/orchestra. A letter went home from Castle Rock with your student today. We do not have the date yet for our Castle Rock tour.
We will be taking the NWEA tests on April 18 and 19. Our Poetry Cafe is scheduled for Wednesday, April 20 from 10:00-11:15. Your student will be able to leave with you when it is over.
Student-led Conferences are scheduled for Friday, May 13th.
We are planning 6th grade day! It will be held on Thursday, June 2nd. We will need parent volunteers to help with lunch and manning the inflatables. Please let me know if you are able to help that day. It is such a fun day and quite the tradition for 6th grade at Eagle Cliffs.
