Happy New Year!

Welcome back to school! After a wonderful Christmas break it is exciting to jump back into school. Today in Math we reviewed adding and subtracting fractions with unlike denominators and estimating sums and differences of fractions and mixed numbers. Look for our Math test over Chapter 4 sometime next week. In Reading we are starting the book "Number the Stars". We took our spelling pretest for unit 14. Homework tonight was math minute 17. If they did not finish their math assignment in class, they had to take that home as well. No student council meeting this week. They will meet on Jan. 11. Have a great evening.
