Tuesday

Tomorrow is the Social Studies test. Fabric for our craft project needs to be brought to school by Monday, Dec. 6th. Midterms will be going home this Friday. Have a great evening.

Monday

No Reading Logs this week and there is no homework tonight. They may have to finish their math assignment from this morning. Last week I sent home a note about our bowling field trip in December. We were fortunate to have the bus paid for by a grant from Exxon. So the only cost to the student is $5.00 for bowling. They can bring this money in anytime. Remember school is dismissed tomorrow at 12:00. I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday! Enjoy time spent with family and friends. I count my students as blessings in my life and enjoy working with them each and everyday!

Tuesday

Winter has arrived! In math we are finding the Least Common Multiple of two numbers. Students are really seeing how important it is to know their multiplication facts. I encourage them to study these at home. Math homework tonight is Minute 11. Spelling words this week are words that end with ed or ing. They should be studying these each night. Parents, thanks for all your help at home with your child's schoolwork. The food drive continues until Friday. What a great way to help those in need. Have a nice evening.

Thursday

Homework tonight is the Divisibility Rules Study Guide. Students may use their notes to complete this assignment. They can expect a quiz on this next week. Spelling test is tomorrow and Home Reading logs are due tomorrow. If your child has artwork that will be displayed at the Art Show they received a notice about that from Mrs. Petersen. Book orders are also due tomorrow. Have a great evening.

Monday

The weather is changing quickly! I guess it was bound to happen. We have been very fortunate with the mild weather we have had. Today we went over the Chapter 2 math test. Several students will be re-testing tomorrow. Unit 9 spelling words were written in the planner today. Please help your student study these words. Tomorrow is retakes for school pictures. There is also a Student Council meeting tomorrow after school.
